poor Adventures operates on the 110 hectares family owned farm Schrikkloof situated 25km from Bela Bela (formely Warmbaths) in Limpopo province (S 24°44.505, E 28°09.849). Located in a Malaria and Bilharzia free environment the farm consists predominantly of open grassland and bush savannah.

n top of the mountain, a strategically placed camp spot with sleeping facilities provide a comfortable experience for both the stargazers and their companions. Optionally guests may return to the fully equipped chalets for complete comfort.

ame drives and hikes are part of the leisure and wildlife experience at Schrikkloof. Explore the untamed bush in an open-air vehicle where all species can be seen. Bring along your camera, to capture some unforgettable moments.

variety of bird species (120 observed up to date) can be spotted including Stanley’s Bustard, which is one of the largest flying birds in Africa.

ll our chalets are fully furnished with comfortable beds, own toilet & shower and each sleeps 2 adults. Each kitchen is equipped with a stove, refrigerator and cutlery and crockery for those who prefer self catering.

chrikkloof offers Impala, Blue Wildebeest, Red Hartebeest, Warthog, Bushpig and Baboon bow hunting opportunities for experienced to novice Bow Hunters.

Bow Hunts can be done either from Hides or using the Walk and Stalk method. Bushpig hunts are done at night and is preferred by the more enduring hunter.

o ensure absolute comfort and high-quality service, a maximum of 4 hunters and 2 non hunters can be accommodated at any one time.

ur comfortable bowhunting hides provide a wide shooting angle (120 degrees), in order to maximize the opportunity of getting your ideal game, and also to enable you to acquire the perfect line for your arrow. Smaller holes provide excellent opportunities for spotting game or for placing cameras.
